I think you know what are widgets. You have seen widgets on your mobile. But, what do widgets in websites mean? Have you ever seen websites telling you to subscribe to their newsletter? That is a widget. It either pops up fades in, etc. Here, in this article, you will learn how to put widgets on your website.
Below is an image of widgets, the colored boxes are popup widgets, slider widgets, etc.

 So, let's GET STARTED !!! >>>

What are the websites we need to add widgets to our website?

There are the best websites that will help you to add widgets to your website. If you have a free WordPress site, then, sorry😓. You cannot do that. If you are using any other web hosting service such as - webflow, webstarts, Wix, etc make sure it allows you to edit your site in HTML. Web Hosting services such as Blogger, and w3spaces will allow you to edit your site in HTML form.
The Web site's name is - Elfsight

Elfsight -

Elfsight is the first site I discovered to add widgets.
When you first visit this site, click on the login button. Then you have to Log in with your account.
Scroll down the webpage. You will see many widgets. You have to click on any widget.
Now you have to choose a template. After choosing a template, click on the Continue with this Template button.
An editor will open. You have to edit your Popup. Then, click on the Save button present in the top, right corner.
After that, you will see a new webpage saying - Select your widget name Plan. Choose the Plan you want. I will prefer to use the free one.
 Click on the Select button.
Now a Popup will appear saying - Add the widget to your website. Below, you will see a code. Copy the code.
Now, you have to paste the code, but where? For that make sure your web hosting service allows you to access the HTML code of your website.

In Blogger - In the sidebar present on the left of Blogger, click on the Theme option.
Click on the dropdown button present beside the CUSTOMIZE button.
When you click on the dropdown menu, a dropdown will open.
On that dropdown, you have to click on Edit HTML
A new web page with the HTML code will appear. Scroll the page until it ends. When the page ends, you will see a code </body>. You have to click on the code above the </body> tag/code. Then, press enter. And, then you have to paste the widget code there.
Now click on the Save button, present right below your account's picture.
If you still can't understand how to paste the widget code in BLOGGER then see this video -
