Some Skills that will make you a computer expert!

          Here, in this article, I have introduced some skills that will help you to become a computer expert. Before learning to program, or other things, you first have to learn the basics and shape yourself as a computer expert. In this article, you will know how to type fast, use keyboard shortcuts to do any operation, if any problem occurs then how to solve it easily, understand how an app or machine or any type of tools work.

Skill 1 - How to type faster?

This is not a skill it is actually the basic understanding of a keyboard. There are many typing test websites, but I will provide you with one - the W3schools Typing test. To increase your typing speed you have to practice. The first type by seeing the keyboard, then try by looking at the screen. If you want to type fast keep your right hand, the first finger on the letter J, and left hand, the first finger on the letter F. Then keep your right-hand finger on the Space bar. If you want to use the uppercase version of a letter, like for "f" it will be "F", press the Shift key and the letter you want and it will turn into its uppercase form.

Skill 2 - Use keyboard shortcuts

I have already posted an article on keyboard shortcuts. You have to learn to use them at the correct time. You can find many keyboards shortcuts on other websites. Remember that keyboard shortcuts are hidden. If you want to type fast keep your right hand, the first finger on the letter J, and left hand, the first finger on the letter F. Skill 3 - How to solve any unknown problems?

You must be thinking that if the problem is unknown to us then how can we solve it? The answer is by searching. Yes, searching for any problem on Google or other search engines is a great talent. You just have to search for the problem you faced, and the answer comes. Because nowadays the web almost contains everything.

Skill 4 - How to understand how an app or machine works?

A machine is a tool that makes our daily life easier. There are six types of simple machines - 

Lever

Wheel and Axle

Inclined plane

Wedge

Screw

A machine helps to overcome a large force with less effort. 

To understand how something works first you have to break the process into small steps. Like when you type something, the computer understands what the user is typing(processing) then it displays the output. This process is also called the IPO cycle. If someone questions you - How Google works?

Then the answer should be -

First, you type something and search. 

The server collects the web pages, videos, images, articles, and news related to it then you can see webpages with collected results.

This was how google works. So now you have an idea of how to understand how an app or machine works.

Skill 5 - How to be a programming expert?

Programming is not so easy or not so hard. If you want to learn to program, remove the history, the theory, just learn how to do something with programming.

 Practice writing codes as it is the best way to make you a good programmer. 

Use this code editor - Sublime Text to practice coding. 

You should learn HTML first. It is used for web development. After you have learned a bit about programming then you can learn other parts of it eg: history, theory.
