Windows 10 has its own Video editor and Screen recorder.

Windows 10's Screen Recorder can only record a window that you have opened and working on, right now. Like - you have opened Chrome and want to record something on it. So, to do that, you have to open Xbox Game Bar.

There are several ways to do that, they are -
Press Windows logo key + G
Search on the Windows search box - Xbox Game Bar
To take a ScreenShot using Xbox Game Bar, press Windows logo key + alt + print same screen( prt sc)
To record a window directly, press - Windows logo key + alt + R

This was all about the Screen Recorder, now comes the Video Editor.

Windows Video Editor contains all the basic video effects needed for video editing. To open Windows Video Editor follow these steps -
Click on the Start button >>>
Now search for "Windows Video Editor" >>>
Then, press ENTER ><

Xbox Game Bar Tutorial -

Above, you have learned how to open the Xbox game bar. Now, you will learn how to use it. When you press the Windows logo key + G, you will see it open.

Now, you will see a window called Capture where you will find a ScreenShot button, Record button, and Mute/Unmute button.

To record an Open Window, make sure the Record button appears White. Click on the button and It will start recording.

If you also want to record the sound, you will see a Capture Status window will appear on your screen. Click on the Unmute button to record sound.

However, you can do many things with Game Bar. This app is actually used to record games. It is used to record a gaming window. But, fortunately, it doesn't know what is a gaming window, therefore it only records a specific window.

When you open the Xbox Game bar, you will see a menu at the top of it. On that menu, you will see different buttons for different functions. First, you will see the logo of the Game Bar; then you will see a button. You have to click on that button and see a dropdown. You can click on any button from the dropdown and a widget will appear on the screen.
