What is a programming language?? How does it work?? What is its importance??

A computer needs a programming language to communicate to humans. It is some kind command that tells a computer what to do. You can say that your computer's whole software part is made with programming languages. Learning programming languages is the best way to learn about a computer.

There are many softwares which runs programming languages, they are called CODE EDITORS. These kinds of softwares are used to practice codes and see their output. These softwares are very useful for developers and programmers. In the image that you can see below, you will notice the names of some programming languages and some codes written on the blank area. I think now you have an idea of what is coding?

The apps, softwares, websites, OSs, machines are made up of programming languages. But in todays life there are many websites and softwares from where you can make a website or an application without any programming experience!!!

About some programming languages -

HTML -

HTML is used or created for web development. Or you can say, it is created for making web apps, websites. HTML( Hyper-Text-Markup-Language) was created by Tim Berners Lee. A very very easy but useful programming language. If you have opened a site, right-click on it then click on view page source, and a full page of Html code will appear on another tab of the browser. You do not need any code editor to run HTML code, you can run it on your browser. However, code editors make it easy to write HTML code. Python -

Python is an interpreted high-level general-purpose programming language. It is used for many purposes. It is also like HTML, very easy to understand, and has fast output. It is also used to make robots and AI's. Just think of it!! you can make your own AI on your computer, sitting on your Bed. I have posted some articles on Python. Read those !!
